2014-present
Artists James Jack, Yoshitaka Nanjo and Shotaro Yoshino formed World Dirt Association based on 9 principles:
- Explore and record the history of dirt
- Connect various researchers on the topic of dirt
- Collect dirt samples and analyze each one
- Focus on dirt from multiple viewpoints
- Make places for discussion associated with dirt
- Plan symposia, events and workshops
- Create artworks that utilize dirt
- Make publications related to dirt
- Continue activities based on these principles
